Knee

My knee has a bone chip or something in it so I will probably need surgery soon. I will still be able teach though, so no worries.

Got it!

I got two windmills in a row! I haven't tried it since but it is getting easier and easier. I will keep practicing and will get it the next time I try.

Music

Bring music to practices and I will play them. As long as you can dance to them then they are ok. Hip hop, Rap, 70s, etc.

Hip hop

I might start a hip-hop club soon. I'll see who wants to join next week. If you are interested then let me know.

Breakdance Practice Feildtrip

Everybody is starting to ask me about learning backflips and frontflips so PPT came to my attention because that is a safe place to learn flips. It may be called breakdance but I dont want any broken bones. Everybody just needs to bring $6 once we decide a day to go. Breakdance class isn't exclusive so if anybody else wants to go cause this sounds like fun just talk to me and I will keep you updated about this trip.

Thanks,
E-Harmony

Family trip to California

Me and my family took a trip to California. We went through Reno to get to our timeshare in Winsor, CA (Wine country) Then we drove down San Fransisco, CA then San Jose, then San Simeon, CA then we drove to Marina Del Ray, then Pismo Beach, then through Las Vegas all the way home. Total miles= 1500+.

This is a picture of the pool at Hearst Castle. This Man decided to make a mansion on top of his favorite childhood hill and he based on castles he visited with his family. I saw a lot of greek art in his collection. The pools were my favorite part.

This is the indoor pool:

You see that gold color on the floor and the walls? 22 Karrot gold. This guy was loaded

Byu vs Utah State

I was at the game on friday and I sat on the very top row above the north goal. The game was great, it started out like the Byu vs Utah game, a lot of interseptions by the other team and fumbles, but later in the game we got our points back and then some. The final score was 35 to 17 in favor of Byu. Game highlights: Dennis Pitta caught his first pass of the game with 2:14 remaining in the first quarter for a 6-yard touchdown, tying the score 7-7, Luke Ashworth scored his first touchdown in a BYU uniform with 14:22 to play in the second quarter, bringing down a career-long 48-yard pass from Max Hall, and those are just a few.

My grandma's 80th birthday.

Last weekend I visited my grandma for her 80th birthday. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona. We flew out of Salt Lake City on thursday (with a busted knee). We had a great time while we were there, my mom wrote this poem for my grandma:

God has given us so much love.
He smiles on us from heaven above.
I feel grateful for my blessings in life.
I am even grateful for all of my strife.
I know the road has had its mountains to climb.
I know it has had moments of joy and sublime.
The world ever changes and is moving very fast.
Sometimes things feel that they won’t last.
The joy of some moments we want to hold longer,
is replaced by the next moment of life which is stronger.
Each moment brings some mystery and wonder,
We welcome it with our perception of the circumstances that we are under.
These moments of change flow like the current of a river;
ever pulling, never stagnant, forever changing, to shape us from the giver.
Like the stones in the bed of the river,
the moments of life smooth and change us to meet Spirit and see clearer.
I am grateful for consistency in these times of change.
There are some things that I know will always remain and never rearrange.
I know my Heavenly Father is the Father of us all.
I know our Savior delivered us from the fall.
I know a mother loves deep to her soul.
A mother is always there for you when you’re young and when you’re old.
You’ve sacrificed, and loved, and given from your heart.
You’re the element that calms the river and what consistency is all about.
You are the heart of the home; the a beacon of light
I thank God for you, my mother, I cherish you, I love you, I will always hold on tight.

Merit Breakdance Classes!

Yo whats up friends? I should've posted this a long time ago but we have breakdance classes every wednesday. If you want to learn any breakdance moves then you should come. My breakdance teacher Kyle Aldous is helping me teach the classes. If we have enough people going that want to learn then i will bring in my other teacher, Jeremy Hannan, which has a bunch of different moves than Kyle so you can be exposed to as many moves as you can.

My knee

I reciently injured my knee in a dance number. What i did was i was going into the middle of a dance circle for my dance solo and hit everything great until i went into the James Brown splits. As i was coming up the outside of my quad pulled harder than the inside so it pulled my kneecap out of place as my knee bent inwards and dislocated. I relocated it when i stood up but tissue inside. I managed to finish the dance even with the huge amount of pain i was feeling, "The Show Must Go On," As people say. I should be walking on it in a week or so, but if i need surgery then a couple months.
