Keep Breaking for Summer

In the summer I am going to have some scheduled times for us to meet. I will be finalizing the times very soon and I will let you know.

Breakdance, to me, is a challenge. It is something to achieve, refine, perfect, and invent. I strive to perfect a move. When I feel that I have mastered the move then I can see a differnt angle or point of view and I will work on refining the move. It seems like when I hit my ceiling then I can look again and my ceiling has raised higher.

I hope to see you this summer. Check back to this blog and I will post when we are meeting.

Keep on breakin'

BBoy Psyco vs Walid

Ok now this video you can really see some of the moves very clear. You have popping, locking, power moves, and freezes. You will see some other moves that you might be surprised to see. This video really shows the technique of the moves.

Be Impressed by some of the best

These BBoys are terrific. Batteling with a smile on their face. That is what breakdance is about.

The Breakdance Lingo

Yo, phat Bgirl. Did someone bite your moves? Those are phat trainers.

Definitions:

BBoy/BGirl = a guy/girl breakdancer
Biting = When you copy (bite) someone elses move.
Phat = Something that you find appealing
Trainers = Your shoes

Translations:

Hello, beautiful lady. Did someone copy your dance moves? Those are nice shoes.

Ok, my Mom wanted me to post this. She said these dance moves can impress the ladies.

In my oponion, oh yes they can. You get your moves down and put your own signiture-style on your skills and you will be gathering the attention of the females. Check out the video for the evidence.

This is worth watching a few times

I saw this video a couple years ago. It is still just as amazing as it was when I first saw it.

You can tell this little guy has seen these moves. Watch how he is persistant and keeps trying. That is what Breakdance is about. When you hit the floor you try some more.

A little Call of Duty to Break... dance

I love this game and I love break dance. This is what happens when you put two of my favorite things together.

Breakdance

A one year is ending and another year is beggining in the world of school. Those of you that are moving away will be missed. This summer I still want to have practice but I also want you to join a class at Center Stage because we all know one day a week will not be enough to increase our ability as much as two or three will. I will post the schedule when it's out and hopefully you all can join.

It's been loads of fun. Your Instructor,
Evan Ketler
